**At Sephora **we inspire our customers, empower our teams, and help them become the best versions of themselves. We create an environment where people are valued, and differences are celebrated. Every day, our teams across the world bring to life our purpose: to expand the way the world sees beauty by empowering the ExtraOrdinary in each of us. We are united by a common goal - **to reimagine the future of beauty.** The RTE will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating delivery processes to ensure flawless execution and maximize delivered value. Leveraging products comprised of product, UX, tech, and test skills, the RTE ensures the successful execution of the plan defined in PI, while relying on a team of product, tech, and test managers who can assist in relaying escalations and making necessary trade-offs. This recruitment is part of a comprehensive delivery transformation plan, so the constitution of products and trains may change and adapt in the coming months, particularly to reflect the ambitions of our roadmaps and strategic plans, while maintaining sustainable and stable products. **You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions**: **Manage and Optimize Value Flow**: - Manage and optimize the flow of value across the program using the PI Board, Risks Board, and tools provided to the RTE in managing the agile train (primarily JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence). - Establish and communicate annual calendars for Sprints, Program Increments (PI), Inspect & Adapt Workshops, and System Demos. - Facilitate PI Planning preparation by fostering the preparation of the Program Vision and Program Backlog. - Coordinate plan preparation and PI scenarioization. **Facilitate Agile Ceremonies**: - Facilitate PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt Workshops, ART Sync, and system demos (to be implemented in the Sephora context). - Aggregate team PI objectives into program PI objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency. - Aid in economic decision-making by facilitating feature and enabler estimation by teams and consolidating them at the portfolio level. - Work in concert with the business owner (binomial) in managing instances. - Participate in the logístical preparation of PIs in physical form. **Manage Risks and Dependencies**: - Assist in managing risks and dependencies, primarily during ART Sync and PI Planning. - Report progress to Lean Portfolio Management and Release Management as well as IT and product directors and support related activities. - Understand and operate within the ART budget, work with delivery managers and scrum to ascertain team capacity necessary to implement Epics, and provide recommendations on resources to resolve critical bottlenecks. **Continual Improvement**: - Foster continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops and support PI retrospectives. - Assess the agility and maturity level of the program and aid in its improvement (e.g., conducting team assessments). - Train leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in agile practices and mindset at scale. - Implement necessary action plans, in collaboration with other trains, to improve team maturity. - Collaborate with your manager and the transformation director to monitor the delivery plan for new processes. **Shared Responsibilities (Collaboration)**: - Validate the availability of features before they enter the "Feature Backlog" state of the feature board. - Work with Product Management and Product Owners to ensure end-to-end alignment of strategy and execution. - Encourage collaboration between teams, at the product level (PM, SA), or Feature team (PO, Techlead, Lead, Dev), and the future system team (currently a cross-functional release team or release management functions carried out by other functions as well as ops integrated within the Digital Operations department). - Escalate and track obstacles with Release Management and product managers (IT and Products) to address irritants as quickly as possible (for example, in case of obstacles discovered during ART Sync). Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Agile project management, including at least 2 years as a Release Train Engineer or similar role. **Technical Skills**: - Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, JIRA Align, or similar). **Leadership Skills**: - Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. - Ability to influence and motivate multidisciplinary teams. **Certifications**: - SAFe RTE (Release Train Engineer) certification preferred. - Other Agile certifications (CSM, PMP, etc.) are a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field. **Personal Qualities**: - Leadership and ability to motivate team members. - Attention to detail, organization, and thoroughness. - Ability to solve complex problems. - Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change. - Willingness to learn and stay updated on technological advancement
