**Become a Host/Hostess aboard our luxury hotel barges and embark on a journey like no other.**

For over 50 years, **European Waterways** has curated unforgettable experiences through bespoke river cruises across **France, Holland, and Scotland**. Our elegant fleet of hotel barges offers exclusive, six-night, all-inclusive cruises for just **8 to 12 discerning guests**, ensuring a high staff-to-guest ratio and the utmost attention to detail.

Each vessel is staffed with a dedicated crew of four**:Captain, Master Chef, Tour Guide/Deckhand, and Host/Hostess**—all committed to creating a seamless and sophisticated onboard experience.

We are currently seeking an exceptional **Host/Hostess** to join our team for the **2025 season in France** (May to end of October). **Several locations possible in France (Burgundy, Alsace, Champagne, south of France).**

**Your Role: The Heart of Hospitality**

As Host/Hostess, you will be the warm and welcoming face of the barge, ensuring every detail of our guests’ stay is polished to perfection. Your responsibilities include:

- **Impeccable Housekeeping**: Maintain the pristine presentation of guest cabins, en-suites, and common areas.
- **Refined Service**: Present elegant breakfasts, prepare aperitifs and cocktails, and guide guests through wine and cheese pairings with knowledge and charm.
- **Attention to Detail**: Oversee laundry, monitor inventory (wine, beverages, amenities), and coordinate with the chef on provisions.
- **Guest Relations**: Anticipate needs and create a genuinely welcoming environment from arrival to farewell.
- **Floral & Finishing Touches**: Keep the ambiance fresh with floral arrangements and personal touches that enhance the guest experience.

**About You: Grace, Poise & Professionalism**
- You bring prior experience in **luxury hospitality or fine dining**:

- You are **energetic, independent, and impeccably organized**:

- You possess a **keen eye for detail and a natural sense of service**:

- You are fluent in **English (C1 level or above); French is a plus**:
