Bandai Namco Europe is a leading global publisher and developer of entertainment content for platforms including all major video game consoles and PC.
BNEU is the western content hub of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.(BNEI), and is building its reputation with franchises such as LITTLE NIGHTMARES, THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY, and the upcoming UNKNOWN 9 Awakening - developed by the recently acquired Reflector Entertainment based in Montreal, QC.
Part of the Japanese Bandai Namco group, an entertainment industry leader with a presence in video games, toys and amusement parks, Bandai Namco Europe has 15 international offices with operations in 50 countries around the world.
**Poste**:
You will join the Release Management team to manage the submission process, and coordinate the secure and reliable release of game content on first party platforms (primarily consoles but other platforms as needed).
Your main responsibilities will be as follows (non-exhaustive list):
- Serve as main point of contact between BNEU and our first party partners for submission and release matters
- Communicate plans for content releases to first parties and any other relevant stakeholders
- Submit master builds and assets to first parties
- Anticipate risks and ensure submission schedules are validated throughout production schedule
- Coordinate the efforts of the content submission cycle, ensuring smooth and timely communication among stakeholders (including all BNE regions, where applicable)
- Communicate the approval and release status at all stages
- Assist department manager in auditing Release Management processes and advocate for their continuous improvement
**Profil**:
- First experience in the video game industry
- Degree majoring in gaming
- Fluent in English (French & Japanese are a plus)
- Strong project management practices, including experience with Office suite, and tools similar to JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Good knowledge of product development and lifecycle management
- Good knowledge of consoles, video games genres and their market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, but able to step back and see the big picture when needed
- Ability to manage changeable workloads
- Calm under pressure
