Head of Design

Keller Executive Search is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Head of Design specializing in Lace Patterns, based in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will lead the design team in creating intricate and innovative lace patterns that meet the needs of our clients in the fashion and têxtile industry. Your expertise will guide the team in producing captivating designs that push the boundaries of creativity and quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and stay current on trends, techniques, and materials related to lace design.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to ensure successful implementation of designs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Review and approve designs, ensuring that they meet quality standards and timelines.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in lace design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Exceptional understanding of têxtile and lace patterning techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a design team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into innovative designs.
