Overview:
**Purpose of Position (Summary)**

**Engineering Technician II in laboratory (W/M)**:

- Carries out tests mainly on products under development in-house or organizes subcontracting
- Contributes to the investment strategy and maintenance of testing resources and methods in accordance with applicable procedures and quality, time and cost objectives committed

**Responsibilities**:
**Carries out the tests planned for products in development and in serial life**
- Plans, organizes and carries out the tests in accordance with the instructions and test methods (development tests, testing of parts for production control or components incoming inspection) up to supply of test report
- Organizes test sub-contracting when necessary
- Reports any anomalies observed and takes part in problem-solving groups. Proposes and implements improvements

**Contributes to the investment strategy and maintain of testing resources and methods**
- Monitors existing test means and methods and identifies those that need to be modernized
- Searches, evaluates and proposes solutions for maintaining or adapting our resources with internal and external contacts
- Pilot the adaptation of existing resources.
- Implements and validates test methods. Updates instructions

**Capitalize on his activity and Know-how**
- Write and share with peers the specific know-how acquired. Participate in lessons learned and CoP sessions. Regularly communicates the progress, risks and needs to the projects teams and to management team

**Participate to Continuous Improvement Programs**
- Identify situations to be improved (safety, quality, timeliness and costs). participate in Problem solving groups or continuous Improvements programs. participate to implementation of action plan and assess efficiency of actions, with support of his/her manager.

Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in a laboratory
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, scientific equipment, physical measurements
- Knowledge of quality tools (5 why, PDCA )
- Experience in industry
- Bachelor’s degree or level Bac +2 equivalent in a technical specialization
- Proficiency in English
