Strategic Planning and Membership Intern The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond-infrastructure with sustainability at its core. We began operations in Beijing in 2016 and have since grown to 110 approved members worldwide. We are capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by the major international credit rating agencies. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled and promotes regional connectivity.
The intern will be placed in the Strategic Planning and Membership Team of the Corporate Secretariat and key responsibilities will include provision of technical support to the sessions of Board of Governors at the 10th Annual Meeting. Ancillary responsibilities will include support in elections monitoring and preparation of BoG newsletter.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide organizational and logístical support to the organization of sessions of the Board of Governors during the Annual Meeting, including assistance with document preparation.
- Support elections monitoring for informed engagement with shareholders.
- Support preparation of BoG newsletter.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a Masters/MBA or PhD program, preferably specialized in development finance, governance or political science
- Passion for international development/area of interests.
- Ability to conduct research with minimum supervision and exercise judgement.
- A strong sense of personal integrity and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, including with high-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great team player.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Relevant previous professional, internship or volunteer experience would be an advantage.

Previous experience and qualifications will determine the grade and job title at which successful applicants will enter AIIB.
