Backend Software Engineer

**Skills and Competencies**
- Knowledge of Java
- Curiosity and desire to learn and understand how an open-source unified analytics engine for large-scale data processing (Spark) works
- Attention to detail and good problem solving skills
- Experience with data processing preferred
- Comfortable in English and in French preferred

**Education**
- Studying towards Master in Software Engineering or related field of study

**Responsibilities**

We are looking for an intern for a 6 months mission, on site (Grenoble).

We will welcome you as a software engineer and will be closely supervised by a senior software engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that has experienced a period of unprecedented growth and is taking on new challenges.

The objective of the internship is to help carry out technical studies and improvements on our calculation engine based on an open-source unified analytics engine for large-scale data processing.

**About the team**

Our team is made of seven Software Engineers, Quality Engineers and Business Analysts. It follows the Agile principles in terms of organization.
