**ABOUT ULI EUROPE**
ULI, the Urban Land Institute, is a non-profit research and education organisation focused on the real estate sector with a strong mission, to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. To advance the mission, the members have identified three mission priorities, which are decarbonisation, affordable and adequate housing and educating the next generation of real estate leaders.
Founded in 1936, we now have over 48,000 members worldwide, representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines working in private and public sectors.
ULI has been active in Europe since the early 1990s and today we have almost 5,500 members. We have a particularly strong presence in the major European real estate markets with National Councils in 15 countries across Europe, including e.g., France, Germany, Spain, and United Kingdom.
ULI’s main revenue sources come from individual and corporate membership, in addition to corporate sponsorship for a wide range of activities ULI delivers, including events, research and mission driven programmes such as C Change or UrbanPlan. ULI has developed a pro-active strategy to grow the philanthropic fund raising to support the delivery of our mission priorities.

This position serves as an integral member of a team to develop,manage and deliver eventstogether with Communication & Marketing, working with ULI’s members, to further the mission of ULI and the France National Council (ULI France).
This position will work closely with the Executive Director or ULI France, European and global teams, and France committee members to implement the organisation’s strategic plan, which comprisescreating and implementation of marketing and communications plans, growing membership, and executing programme logistics.
Attendance at member events is required, as well as scheduled in-person meetings with the Executive Director of ULI France.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Events**
- Manage and execute all logístical aspects of planning (including budgets, budget management and tracking finances) and implementing high-quality National Council events (digital and physical).
- Oversee relationships with third-party contractors; management of procurement processes and negotiating with suppliers.
- Input to the programming aspects of events by working with colleagues across ULI Europe and globally, National Council committee members, to identify speakers, and align the content with ULI France’s programme of work.
- Handle and attend all meetings logistics before, during, and after each event.
- Work strategically to streamline the delivery of events.
- Leverage events to maximise membership growth for ULI France.
**Programmes and Networks**
- In partnership with the Executive Director of ULI France, manage and oversee the delivery of events for local Product Councils, Young Leaders and NEXT groups.
- In partnership with the Executive Director of ULI France, coordinate and support ULI France local Product Councils.
- In partnership with the Executive Director of ULI France, coordinate Young Leaders programmes (e.g. Mentorship, Prop Tech Challenge).
- Support the rollout of the UrbanPlan France programme, including logistics support.
**Marketing and communication**
- Understand, communicate, and deliver the event brand to France market.
- Work in partnership with Executive Director of ULI France to produce high-quality, appealing, creative, and tailored France marketing materials; and create and implement innovative and effective marketing strategies, including:
- Monitoring all marketing responses, analyze effectiveness of marketing outlets, and deliver pre-/post-event marketing analysis including delegate feedback surveys.
- Managing social media campaigns and community management.
- Promoting ULI France meetings (physical or virtual) within the community and on social networks. Animation of social networks ULI France, with the help of the press and communication agency.
- Providing support, in coordination with the press agency, on preparing the press kits.
- Updating the ULI France website.
**General Management**
- Access records from ULI’s database, reports, meeting rosters, badges, invoices, etc., as needed.
- Perform other operational duties and manage projects, as required.
**Requirements**:
- Experienced events and/or project manager including the organisation of content, marketing, coordination and accounting related to events
- Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities, as well as adapt quickly to shifting duties and responsibilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and follow up with final details, as well as a commitment to detail and accuracy.
- Self-directed and resourceful, with the ability to initiate tasks and assume responsibility for them.
