**Who we are**:
At **CryptoNext Security**, we are a French deeptech company leading the way in post-quantum cryptography. We design cybersecurity solutions to protect critical systems today against the quantum threats of tomorrow. Our clients include major banks, government agencies, and industrial players who demand optimal network performance and reliability.

**On a daily basis, you will**:
While this role is rooted in **network engineering**, your main mission will be to **validate and stress-test network performance** within our embedded cybersecurity solutions:

- Design and execute **low-level network validation tests** to ensure the robustness and reliability of our products.
- Simulate **realistic and high-volume network traffic** using tools such as **TRex, DPDK, Scapy, iPerf, NetEm, pktgen**, etc., to push our systems to their limits.
- Monitor and analyze critical network metrics**:latency, throughput, packet loss, jitter**.
- Work closely with cryptographers, embedded developers, and system architects to **identify, investigate, and resolve network-related performance issues**.
- Develop and maintain **automated test frameworks** to streamline and enhance network validation processes.

**Requirements**:
**The skills you'll need**:

- Background in **network engineering**, with strong skills in **performance testing, validation, or QA**.
- Proficiency with traffic generation and network analysis tools**:TRex, DPDK, iPerf, pktgen, Scapy, NetEm, Wireshark**.
- In-depth knowledge of network and cryptographic protocols (TLS, DTLS, IPsec, TCP/IP, etc).
- Experience working in **critical infrastructure** environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an interest in **ensuring the performance and resilience of complex systems**.

**The team you’ll be joining**:
You will join forces with our **R&D team** (cryptographers, software engineers) to guarantee the performance and robustness of our cybersecurity solutions.
