Operational and Information Risk Manager

**High-level summary of the scope and scale of the role**
- Assist in the development and the maintenance of operational risk frameworks by the first line of defense.
- Assist in preparation of Operational Risk Committee.
- Raise the awareness of operational risk management within the business, by building relationships and deploying/coordinating training initiatives
- On ad hoc basis, contribute to the maintenance of the information risk related control framework

**Individual responsibilities/tasks/ Key Result areas**
- Assist with the completion of the annual operational risk quantification aiming at estimating the potential losses that AXA Partners would face in case their main risks materialize with the help of business experts in compliance with AXA Group methodology.
- Assist with the completion of the annual operational risk assessment (ORA) ensuring the first line of defense are sufficiently trained, supported and challenged on their assessment of the impact, likelihood, and evaluation of the control environment in compliance with AXA Group methodology.
- Manage the operational risk actions ensuring that management are delivering appropriate solutions in response to issues and risks identified. This includes risks identified through the Internal Control testing, risk assessment, incidents, internal audit etc.
- Animate the operational risk community within AXA Partners, including ensuring a strong alignment between Operational Risks management and internal control framework.
- Investigate and report operational risk incidents to the Operational Risk Management team and track the delivery of corrective actions.
- Promote the escalation policy and ensure the business are raising and reporting operational incidents and near misses.
- Provide regular reporting on the operational risks, in a format suitable for presentation to a board level audience.
- From time to time, support the AXA Partners Risk team with ad-hoc projects / reviews etc.
- From time to time, contribute to the maintenance of the information risk related control framework.

**Votre Profil** Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to get things done
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, managing stakeholders of all levels of seniority (including Executive Committee and CEO).
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders operating at different offices across the globe.
- Investigative and analytical mind-set.
- Takes the initiative to plan, execute, and deliver multiple pieces of work to different deadlines, with mínimal supervision.
- Fluent in French and English.

**Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience**
- 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: project management, operational risk management, information risk management, internal audit.
- A knowledge of the key regulations such as Solvency II, General Data Protection Regulation, and Insurance Distribution Directive would be appreciated.
