Field Application Engineer

Provide VOC to TE internal teams
- Work on new product pipeline and win new projects to ensure future growth
- Major contributor towards TE's organic growth strategy.
**What your background should look like**:
- BSc Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
- High degree of knowledge in sensor technology and/or electronics/mechatronics
- Familiarity with digital (I2C, SPI) and wireless (BLE, LoRaWAN) protocols an advantage
- Strong capability to turn customer needs into business opportunities
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team in a matrix organization
- Innovative thinker and problem solver. Willingness to push for better solutions
- Professional English in written and verbal form; professional presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to key customers and other TE sites
- Willingness to develop technical skills
**Responsibilities**:
- Build credible customer relationships and be accepted as a competent partner by the customers
- Develop deep understanding of customer's system architecture beyond the sensor
- Translation of the voice of customer into product requirements
- Support the project management of new and existing sales and engineering projects from demand creation to production
- Interface between the TE Engineering design team and customer to ensure that both sides understand the requirements and have all needed information available
- Work in close cooperation with the sales and engineering teams
- Ability to create ideas to generate an advantage for TE
- Support MARCOM activities such as Articles, Flyers, Fairs, and Tech Days
- Troubleshooting and assistance and technical support before, during and after commissioning at the customer
- Revision of technical documentation, e.g., operating instructions
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Provide product training (internal and external)
