As Partner Program Manager you will be part of a global Partner Program and Channel organization that is passionate about driving Equinix’s world class go-to-market initiatives and programs and activating our most strategic Partners; Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Network Service Providers (NSPs), Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) and Technology Partners.
Reporting to the Director of Partner Programs EMEA, this individual contributor role requires a strong balance of GTM initiatives, program design and execution, program oversight, cross-region coordination, leadership skills and results measurement.
In this role you will work in partnership with several adjacent teams in Equinix (direct sales, marketing, solutions architects, business development, sales operations etc) and in partnership with the wider Channel team members in the field to implement measurable key success factors with our sales organization and with our Partners.
This position has an EMEA scope but will work in conjunction with the global Partner Programs team as to multi-region activation of various partnerships and programs.
Preferred locations for this role would be our EMEA HQ in Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, or London.
**What is this role about?**
As Partner Program Manager you will be providing proactive leadership and mentorship to regional Partner Sales Managers, coordination of cross functional teams and support the Global Partner Program efforts in EMEA.
**Additional responsibilities would include**:
- Translating Equinix Platform, portfolio, and capabilities into a tailored messaging and high value joint solutions for target partners to repeat and scale the go-to-market engine
- Completing Partner Programs objectives set by global and regional management
- Drive Partner focused initiatives and adoption of Partner facing tools, resources, and platforms, to drive Partner self-sufficiency and advocacy
- Implementing and supporting various Partner program guidelines, rules, and measures
- Assisting in the development of required support materials for the Partner program
- Measure and report on success of assigned Partners
**Who are you?**
To be successful in the role you should possess a combination of partner management experience and program management, an understanding of business growth, financial contribution models and return on investment calculations. You should understand IT services and shifting cloud consumption models such as networking, cloud services and hybrid cloud solutions and overall IT industry trends.
**Additional experience you bring includes**:
- IT and Cloud Industry experience working with partners. The experience may come from partner sales, partner programs, partner marketing, pre-sales, or partner development.
- Comfortable to proactively drive and lead pivotal initiatives end-to-end.
- Strong initiative and ability to work in a focused environment and being able to set priorities and multitask in a multifaceted environment.
- Ability to craft and present partner business plans, supervise and articulate program progress, design, and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use.
- Technical savvy is a plus as well as additional European language skills
