In this position, you are the technical referent of the Local Marine & Ports division based in Marseille (France). Your role will be to provide technical solutions and advice on ABB Marine & Ports products, systems, and solutions on board ships and ashore. Reporting to the Local Division Manager, you will transversally support the entire marine & ports team as well as clients by advising them on technical options and profitable solutions.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Find technical solutions, size the equipment so that it meets the customer's needs.
- Participate in the drafting of technical and financial offers and public calls for tenders.
- Perform diagnostics and analyzes to formulate recommendations for improvement based on customer needs.
- Provide technical information and perspectives at various stages, as well as technical presentations, plans and demonstrations on complex product issues.
- Assist the project team by actively participating to the project engineering and execution phases as well as in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Site Acceptance Tests.
**Your background**:
- Engineering degree in the electrical or industrial field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership/technical management role (electrical engineering field in the industrial environment).
- Experience in pre-sales.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution networks (HV/LV), control systems, frequency conversion (a plus).
- Mastery/knowledge of electrical design software (Autocad, SEE electrical, Caneco).
- No obstacles for travel (in France and abroad).
- Fluent English and French is required.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
