**What to Expect**
**What You’ll Do**
- Responsibilities
- Set and meet objectives to improve and drive EHS to reduce risk while doing the basics right;
- Maintain relationships within several levels of the organization by reaching out to stakeholders;
- Set requirements, facilitate and audit EHS compliance & enable stakeholders to follow-up;
- Develop, implement and sustain EHS policies, plans, and procedures;
- Interface with local regulatory agencies on permitting, reporting and related issues;
- Perform EHS safety audits and risk assessments, address recommendations and actions;
- Support the incident analysis process and implementation of corrective actions to prevent injury;
- Record and maintain workplace incidents, accidents and near misses;
- Design safe workspaces and create policies for employees that minimize job-related hazards;
- Ensure activities related to waste coordination take place in compliance with applicable requirements;
- Conduct education, instruction, and training on EHS based on the identified risks to raise awareness;
- Analyze and present EHS data, reports and trends; to recommend & support plans for corrective actions;
- Coordinate safety programs such as emergency response, personal protective equipment, ergonomics, traffic safety, electrical safety, contractor safety, LOTO, hazard communication, dangerous goods and 5S.
**What You’ll Bring**
- Requirements
- Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety;
- Certification required for France;
- Degree in Occupational Safety or Industrial Safety is preferred;
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in French and English desired Italian/Spanish is a preference;
- Knowledge of national, European and global regulatory agencies and requirements;
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure while managing demands and tight deadlines;
- Proactive as well as detail and result oriented with strong desire to succeed;
- Strong interpersonal, communicative and stakeholder relationship skills;
- Ability to prioritize and support multiple departments;
- Flexible in time management and willingness to travel in the area of France and other South EMEA;
- Valid vehicle driving license;
- Based in France, Paris area.
