**Position Overview**:

Sandton, Johannesburg

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Account Reconciliation**:

- Responsible for the reconciliation of all transactions between, Sava’s clients, Sava’s partners, and any third-party service providers.
- Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies, risks, and potential issues in financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reconciliation reports, ensuring all transactions are aligned across multiple platforms.

**Risk Assistant Support**:

- Assist the Risk Department with daily risk management tasks.
- Monitor financial transactions to detect fraud, unusual behavior, and any non-compliant activities.
- Work closely with the Compliance team to raise alerts and ensure swift resolution of flagged transactions.

**Risk Mitigation and Monitoring**:

- Contribute to risk mitigation strategies by identifying potential vulnerabilities in transaction processes and financial operations.
- Support the monitoring of financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

**KYC/KYB Analysis**:

- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) analysis to ensure clients and partners meet compliance standards.
- Prepare and maintain relevant documentation for compliance checks.
- Ensure all KYC/KYB procedures are followed in line with regulatory requirements.

**Training and Reporting**:

- Develop training materials for reconciliation and risk management processes.
- Assist in the creation of internal reports regarding risk findings and compliance status.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk assessments and compliance activities are aligned.

**Requirements**:

- Have familiarity with compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.
- At least have an understanding of risk management, especially in the financial sector.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and assess risk.
- Experience or understanding of KYC/KYB procedures is preferred.
- Must be able to provide a valid police clearance.

**Work Environment**:
Applicants must reside in Johannesburg or be able to commute to the office in Sandton on office days.
