To do so, we rely on a dynamic, culturally diverse group of employees, working in more than 100 countries, in a variety of challenging roles.We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the Paris Office Client Service team as Account Manager reporting to the Client Service Manager.The successful applicant will perform insurance servicing and underwriting activities on existing accounts, new business and design property insurance concepts for prospects. He/she will be responsible for overall account team leadership. This position's primary function is to serve as the Account Team leader and as key/primary interface with customers/brokers on all account aspects including insurance products and services, engineering and claims services while ensuring the accounts are properly underwritten.***Responsibilities**:
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and brokers to successfully create long-term customer loyalty to FM Global, including a significant number of face-to-face meetings with senior client personnel.
- Leading an Account Team to support the strategic goals and objectives of our clients by providing professional advice and consultation on insurance coverage and risk management matters.
- Ensuring stability by retaining existing customers at equitable terms and conditions using FM Global significant insurance capacity in conjunction with our risk management expertise to improve client risk quality and selling additional product lines as appropriate.
- In conjunction with Account Engineers, establish risk improvement priorities and support efforts to obtain customer compliance with loss prevention recommendations.
- Work closely with New Business Development Executives on new prospects within the Client Service process, contributing high quality underwriting expertise to win new client accounts.
- Responsible for understanding and implementing company underwriting guidelines and standards in the daily management of assigned clients.
- Executing global insurance placement programs for our clients.
- Demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement by effective engagement of our clients in our Client Service Process and ensuring clients are aware of our full range of products and services.
**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Master’s degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years with FM Global or 5 years industry experience, (broker/ insurance company/ industry) in servicing large multinational property accounts of varying occupancies.
- Demonstrate above average ability in organization, problem solving, communication, sales/negotiation, leadership and team building. Computer skills. Strong versatility.
- French and English are key. Spanish or Italian would be a plus.
