Field Service Maintenance Technician

**Job title: Field Service Maintenance Technician**

Provide full technical support for SKYJACK machines in operation for customer within Northern France and ensuring that SKYJACK remains the market leader in the AWP sector by providing a high level of service technical services to our customers, Service Providers.

**Main tasks / responsibilities**:

- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other technical departments, sales and members of the team.
- Gain a comprehensive business understanding of the SKYJACK strategy and the requirements of the market and customer base. With this awareness, identify and support opportunities within the Technical Services team.
- If applicable, undertake a thorough review and certification under the regulations
- Service, repair, calibration and software updates of machines at customer sites or SKYJACK installations as required. To ensure compliance with the manufacturer's specifications and Company policy
- Conducts evaluations/inspections and reports on findings (including the description of works, estimated labour and action plan) on AWP machines
- Interact with other team members to ensure accurate and timely sharing of Technical and commercial information
- Inform the appropriate team member of any faulty or unsafe equipment
- Inspect and test wiring and circuitry and replace defective parts (Electric, Hydraulic and Mechanic)
- Work flexibly to perform all tasks required by SKYJACK that are within the employee's skills and abilities under the position
- Ensure compliance with SKYJACK processes and procedures and remain compliant with all laws and local requirements
- Deliver exceptional levels of customer service by embracing the service to all of our customers and take a natural lead to advance this within the company
- Liaise and interact with customers and suppliers : as a SKYJACK representative always providing a high level of customer service and being polite at all times
- Occasional requirement to take on other duties, including workshops or tasks associated with the Level of Role and Responsibility
- The position will require the job holder to be based from home, you must have a flexible approach and you will need to spend time away from your home base if necessary. The position will also contain a cross-border travel element (possibly on short notice).
- Ability to assist end user and customers with service and repair tasks, including proper use of resources and diagnostic equipment

**About You**:

- Relevant engineering or mechanical qualifications required
- Aerial work platform industry experience strongly preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently performing service and repair tasks as needed
- Valid passport & drivers license is essential
- English and French language required
- Reside within Northern France

- Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience (€45-€50k pa)

Pay: 45,000.00€ - 50,000.00€ per year
