**Technical Account Manager (M/F/d)**

position to ensure sustainable growth and people management on this important area.

**What you will be doing**

Technical Account Manager is an engineering role within Ports Optimisation and Simulation product line Customer Support organisation with a focus on development and maintaining of good relationship between existing key customers and Wärtsilä. Technical Account Manager will report to Head of Customer Support, Ports Optimisation and Simulation.

Location for this position is a Wärtsilä office in Helsinki Finland, Gothenburg Sweden, Hamburg Germany, Valbonne France or Portsmouth UK.

**As a Technical Account Manager your work will focus on these responsibilities**:

- Keep close communications and relationship with the existing customers in Europe for assurance that existing Warranty / Smart Support projects are in good state and satisfactory level
- Providing product guidance and technical support to the customers
- Process the customer’s cases with Customer Support or Engineering team for efficient resolving and customer satisfaction
- Participate to Sales project preparations by providing Simulation technical expertise
- Reporting to the Sales and Customer Support for the Warranty / Smart support projects at nearly expiration stage and agreeing the scenario for future opportunities development
- Analyze and report statistic on cases supported on a monthly basis
- Manages the Smart Support projects as Project Manager in accordance with Project Management process.
- Review the Quality Management System requirements and ensure operations are in compliance with them

**To be successful in this role, we expect you to have**:

- Relevant education: B. Sc in electrical engineering, marine engineering or computer technology
- 5+ years of IT experience with variety in various IT environments
- Experience and knowledge of Wärtsilä simulation systems or similar brands
- Project management skills
- Problem solving, decision making and “making things happen” attitude
- Communication and collaboration skills with customers and external partners
- Flexibility and ability to travel within Europe and Africa Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages considered as benefit**What we offer**:
