Meaningful Work From Day One
As B2B e-Business Manager, your main mission will be to ensure the success and growth of the eB2B business unit. Reporting to the eCommerce Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing the sales, distribution and visibility of our brands (Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, Diplomatico, Woodford Reserve, Benriach). Through in-depth understanding of the french market, channel and competitive space, the B2B e-Business Manager will be responsible for developing a strategic long term plan, as well as orchestrating all aspects of the day-to-day operations for this new business unit. This role requires strong management skills to drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Legal & IT to deliver a plan that provides a superior brand and shopping experience for our direct B2B customers.
What You Can Expect
B2B (through Brown Forman eCommerce platform):
- Oversee eB2B commercial activity:
- Identify eB2B sales growth drivers-
- Gather insights on target customers-
- Strategy and action plan proposals including the offer, services, sales animation, promotion plan, education, acquisition process, upsell - all in close collaboration with the field sales-
- Set and monitor performance KPI’s (sales, restocking, etc.) as well as define corrective action plans- Report results to the French leadership team and eCommerce Europe teams- Representation at professional/trade events- Co-construct the Go-To-Market strategy and commercial plan for new B2B customer targets- Suggest corrective measures for continuous improvement of the platform or supply chain based on customer feedback and performance metrics- Budget management and monitoring of expenses (marketing, 3rd party service providers, logistics etc.)
On-Trade Account Management (via Brown Forman eCommerce platform)- Define the strategic and operational drivers for our on-trade B2B customers to optimise Brown Forman's volumes and profitability- Negotiate annual commercial agreements in line with the allocated resources and the defined commercial policy- Develop sales for this channel and look for new development opportunities (visibility, distribution, etc.)
eCommerce Business Development (B2C)- Accelerate the development of eCommerce customers in line with the group's commercial policy and business strategy
What You Bring to the Table- Experience in a similar eCommerce position as e-store manager, e-category manager or e-business manager within a brand, a retailer or a marketplace.- Experience in retail / e-commerce for small business customers (SME’s)- You have a good knowledge of e-merchandising- You are digital / ecommerce savvy and familiar with the different levers of digital marketing and principles of acquisition, conversion & retention strategies- With a proven sales drive, you are at ease with the mechanics of the digital ecosystem and online sales techniques (direct sales and via marketplaces)- You are familiar with all aspects of customer relationship management and project management involving various internal departments (Marketing, Supply, Finance)- A team player, creative, organised, customer and solution-oriented, you thrive when collaborating and contributing ideas to improve collective efficiency- Knowledge of CMS platforms (BigCommerce) would be a plus- Fluency in English and French is mandatory to successfully carry out your missions
