What are we looking for?

As a result of huge growth driven by the world shifting more and more to living & working on the move (5G, working from home etc), we have an exciting opportunity to hire a full time Graduate Sales person who ideally has graduated within the past 2-3 years with a STEM or Business degree with an Engineering background, who is looking for their first or second job. You will be a highly motivated and ambitious person with a positive “can do” attitude. You will naturally have a problem solving & creative mentality and thrive in a team environment. You will have excellent presentation skills and previous telecommunication experience is a distinct advantage.

You must hold a valid permanent work permit for the country in which you wish to work.

What will you do?

You will join our Graduate Development program which will provide you with a path towards Technical Sales excellence, while working for a company that’s leading the way for innovation. The program offers extensive networking, mentoring and coaching opportunities, and its structured learning approach includes role rotations as well as classroom-based and hands on training during which you’ll learn about Ciena’s solutions and how our organization works to exceed the needs of our customers.

After your development programs ends you will join our Sales team full time supporting the sales process from opportunity identification through to delivery. This dynamic role involves working very closely with our customers and all our sales support functions to build long term successful relationships.
