The Consumer Insights manager role sits within the Global Consumer Brand, Home & Scent team, working on home care projects for major clients, involving laundry, surface, toilet, dishwasher, and air care products.
In this role you will lead the execution of our regional proactive programs across home & scent categories to fuel the fragrance creation process with product and consumer insights. You will also be the go-to CI person in the surface, air, toilet and dishwasher space and partner with development and commercial teams to support clients’ needs in these product categories.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of marketers, fragrance developers, perfumers, other CI researchers and account leads based across Europe with most of your direct partners for the surface, air, toilet, and dishwasher categories located in London - the preferred site for this role.

**Your key responsabilities**
- Lead the planning, execution, analysis, and communication of proactive consumer insights studies for all home & scent product categories to help develop winning fragrance solutions.
- Implement CI quantitative or qualitative methodologies to explore, identify and validate consumer needs and olfactive preference, in response to key client requests for surface, air, dishwasher and toilet care products.
- Manage all phases of own research projects from start to finish: design and script studies, deliver statistical interpretation and actionable recommendations, liaise with both internal (labs, development, sales, other CI teams) and external (agency) partners.
- Build a European insights bank for the GCB, home & scent team and collaborate with other CI departments to feed and promote it.
- Monitor own projects and budgets, responsible for the invoicing process in EU for the Home & Scent CI team and help improve internal processes and standards.
- Provide ad-hoc operational support to senior CI team members.

**You bring**
- B.S/M.S in sensory, consumer science, market research, food science or equivalent.
- Min. 2 years of experience in consumer insights, sensory, product development, or in a research agency.
- Strong skills in quantitative data analysis, ability to interpret results through datamining and good understanding of statistics - qualitative experience welcomed but not mandatory.
- At ease with data collection systems (such as Fizz, SIMS, Compusense) and analytical tools (Excel and XLStat in particular).
- Great organisation skills, pragmatic and a hands-on attitude. Able to successfully manage multiple ongoing projects and priorities.
- Team player attitude, you have a desire to be part of a highly creative team in a fast-paced, competitive and inspiring fragrance industry.
- Very good English and communication skills to easily navigate in a global, multicultural and matrix environment.
