**FOPS Safety / Commissioning Interface Leader - KAMINHO (Angola)**

**Context**:
This role is part of the development studies for Block 20/11, following HQ processes. The project involves subsea wells producing to a spread-moored FPSO (75 kbopd, 60 kbopd water injection, 400 MMscfd gas reinjection, oil tandem offloading) and is fast-tracked to achieve first oil within five years of farm-in and operatorship transfer.

**Position Details**:
The job is residential, based at the contractor's premises in Saint Quentin en Yvelines until detailed engineering ends (summer 2026), then relocating to China for FPSO construction and commissioning, followed by Angola for FPSO startup. The position is needed until Project PAC completion, planned for the end of 2028.

**Main Responsibilities**:
The job holder will act as the safety and commissioning interface leader, ensuring FPSO design meets HSE standards for safe operations. They will be responsible for contractor HSE management system implementation and review HSE deviations on behalf of the FOPS team. Working closely with the startup leader, the job holder will also manage the commissioning process to ensure timely delivery of First Oil and minimize startup flaring.

**Commissioning and Safety Focus**:

- Lead safety reviews and ensure that all engineering and development work adheres to the FPSO's safety and operability requirements.
- Develop the FOPS commissioning surveillance plan with the startup leader.
- Ensure alignment between commissioning sequences and production objectives, including adherence to startup and flaring objectives.
- Assist in preparing commissioning and startup procedures for FPSOs and ensure all operational requirements are accounted for in the design phase.

**Operational Support**:
The job holder will assist the Field Operations production leader across various domains including flow assurance, well performance, production engineering, process, chemical treatment, and the Field Operations Management System (FOMS). They will coordinate production support processes such as metering, hydrocarbon accounting, production forecasting, and lifting planning. Additionally, they will oversee the preparation of engineering documentation and ensure coherence between different operational work packages.

**Interface Management**:
The job holder will actively liaise with Geoscience, Drilling, SPS, SURF, and FPSO work packages to ensure operational requirements are integrated into project designs. They will oversee the definition of the Flaring philosophy, Metering strategy, and Ramp-up strategy, ensuring all flow assurance and production parameters are addressed.

**Reporting and Collaboration**:
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the job holder will highlight concerns, optimize OPEX, and support training initiatives, particularly for the promotion of Angolan engineers. They will also ensure compliance with all safety, production, and engineering standards.

**Technical Requirements**:

- Engineering degree (Bac +5 level).
- Experience in commissioning management and RSES/OIM roles.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with proficiency in French or English.
- In-depth knowledge of the FPSO offshore industry and applicable GS and CR group standards.
