**Role Purpose**
You will be a key contributor within GLCM Continental Europe (CE) and a member of the GLCM Europe products and proposition team within HSBC.
The purpose of the Receivable Senior Product Manager role is to enable HSBC Continental Europe entities and clients to rely upon a strong and responsive partner for their needs, as cash and cheques but also innovative propositions on collections through a safe and secure service whilst ensuring the activity remains a revenue driver for the bank itself.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and drive the execution of regional commercialization and marketing strategy for the assigned product(s) in line with the strategy for Global Business, and contribute to the Risk Identification & Mitigation objectives of the business.
- Contribute in the execution of longer term product strategy based on customer needs, emerging market trends, infrastructure development and the regulatory environment for the country / region; leveraging on market insights, audit reports, market analysis and risk analysis carried out
- Deliver process improvements to drive efficiency and where required establish new process that meet the stakeholder’s requirements
- To support the management of your Product’s Operational Risk Framework requirements whether prompted by external regulatory change, supervisory finding or the desire to improve or harmonise internal processes as these contribute to the Risk Identification & Mitigation objectives of the business.
- Evaluate the risk level of the assigned products constantly and implement risk mitigation steps as necessary.
- Contribute productively to team objectives, supporting and/or leading activities to achieve shared goals.
- To assist with the provision of product and technical knowledge, to provide advice and guidance and product training
- To assist in the development of sales initiatives/collateral, advice & guidance, training to improve product sales / market share / profitability.In your role as Product Manager, you will mobilise, energise and inspire the various stakeholders to drive and maximise the product portfolio, oversee the implementation of new clients by interacting with the various stakeholders (Relationship Management, GLCM Sales, Product Management, Revenue Management and Business Management, Legal, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Digital Business Services IT and Operations, etc ) within Continental Europe.

Your role is particularly critical as the portfolio and revenue stream is highly visible and on the developments plans for both Global Liquidity and Cash Management in HSBC at Group and Regional level as well as for HSBC Continental Europe. It also involves close engagement with key stakeholders in HSBC Continental Europe outside of GLCM including but not limited to Global Banking, Commercial Banking and Risk Stewards. You will support the growth of the Receivable propositions business by ensuring CE GLCM strategy and business activity are aligned to the Regional & Global CCO strategy and consistently managed across teams within the region, challenging senior leaders to avoid introduction of risk.

Requirements
- Proven experience in product management including product commercialisation and development in cash management
- Knowledge of the payments and cash management business &/or previous experience of sales, relationship management &/or operational role &/or customer-facing role
- Working knowledge and keen understanding of bank operations, payment systems and technology especially family payment infrastructure
- Experience in driving cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrix organization
- A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering solutions
- Exposure to creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
- Consistently achieved objectives set for them and taken action to improve their own performance
- Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
