As process development R&D Manager you will lead the Process Development Group within the R&D department. You will manage a team of 20 people (7 chemical engineers and 13 laboratory technician). You will manage directly the 7 chemical engineers. You will report at the R&D site director.
**Your responsibilities**:
- You will act as an interface for cross-divisional activities, especially in the introduction of new
- You will be responsible for adhering to the time and budget requirements.
- You will actively support the evaluation and planning of new projects.
- You will be responsible for the process development stage-gate and workflow process.
- You will challenge processes and - in coordination with the customer (e.g. project manager,
production chemist, QA, AD) - seeks for continuous process improvements.
- You will represent the client to the customer in project-specific meetings and telephone
conferences.
- You will follow all standard regulations pertaining to his / her work.
- You will verify the feasibility of synthesis routes in the laboratory.
**Your profile**:
- You have a Phd in organic chemistry.
- You have already 5 years’ experience as manager.
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in the chemistry or pharmaceutical environment.
- You are a real teamplayer, human and empathic.
- You have very good communication skills.
- You are speaking very well French and English.
