Summary
The Marketing Executive will take responsibility for supporting our marketing output and activity within our France Brokerage business unit.
At World Kinect Energy Services, our marketing activity has a sharp commercial edge - we’re focused on driving organic growth through generating new business, retaining profitable customers and cross-selling to existing accounts.
- and mid-funnel sales and marketing activity: not only to generate and qualify leads through marketing campaigns and initiatives, but also working closely with sales colleagues to manage these opportunities through to close, measuring returns at every stage.
This is a newly-created role, based from our office in Paris, France, but with potential for home working up to 2 days per week. The role reports to a UK-based Marketing Manager and will work within our Global Land Marketing Team, with close local day-to-day supervision and coordination with our France office-based sales and operations teams. There may be some requirement for domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing execution and management_
- Working with internal marketing operations team, lead and manage the delivery of targeted cross-channel campaigns to help us generate new business, increase retention of profitable existing customers, and cross-sell key products and services to existing accounts.
- Execute digital strategy across various channels (SEO, PPC, social media, online events).
- Customer Experience and Brand management_
- Actively represent our French customer base, helping to assess and understand key pain points and how we can help them, as well as support the implementation of our Customer Experience vision and plan.
- Customer and Market insight_
- Work with our internal analytics teams to design and evolve actionable customer segmentations, supporting a robust, business-wide understanding of who our customers are, what we mean to them, what they mean to us, and how to better serve them.
- Stay current with trends in-and-around our key lines of business and market segments.
- Sales Enablement_
- Collaborate across business functions to support sales teams to sell more effectively.
- Communication and Presentations_
- Represent marketing at key stakeholder meetings both in person and virtually, presenting activity and understanding business context to shape marketing requirements.

- Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Confident with online marketing and social media strategy
- Fully conversant in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive with changes in priorities and requirements
- Well organized, and with an eye for detail
- Familiarity with basic design principles, content writing and editing
Education and Experience Requirements
- Essential_
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related Business discipline, or equivalent training and evidence of continued professional development
- Good commercial acumen. Numerate, and able to manage budgets and forecasts to appraise ROI
- Fluent in French, and with a high standard of English.
- Excellent communication skills. Able to write proficiently and accurately, and present clearly.
- Being able to articulate, craft and tailor messages to suit differing audiences
- Leading design and delivery of prospect
- and customer-engagement materials and messaging
- Desirable_
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools (Ceros, Eloqua, SEM Rush)
- Knowledge of digital PPC campaigns. Google Ad certification preferred
- Understanding of the Fuel and Energy sector
- Understanding of Commercial and Industrial B2B market industry verticals, including of external and internal drivers affecting them
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (PhotoShop, InDesign and/or Illustrator) to amend artwork is a plus.
