**Information about the position**:
In this role, the Operational Excellence Program Manager will work to enable the operational teams to perform at their highest potential level of efficiency and quality within the existing products and processes. This will be achieved by ensuring process compliance, standardisation and ensuring operational management have the tools and insights needed to drive improvements.

**In this position, you'll**:

- Build close working relationships with the Operational teams who execute Sortation, Last Mile and Mid-Mile operations. This includes leadership, managers and operators.
- Spend regular time on the ground in our Paris, Lyon and Lille hubs to deeply understand processes, challenges faced by the operation, drive engagement and quickly implement improvements.
- Leverage lean principles to improve the efficiency and quality of our process execution.
- Establish the necessary performance tracking and governance mechanisms to understand how well the operation is performing within our processes.
- Ensure new processes and products are integrated to the operation in a structured and managed way.
- Work closely on operational excellence topics with supporting teams such as Operations Development, Data Science and Analytics, Health & Safety, Product & Engineering.
- Be responsible for delivering all mechanisms needed for process standardisation and compliance which includes: Standard operating procedures, 5S implementation, equipment readiness, training and communications.
- Work in a structured manner e.g. DMAIC
- Be responsible for setting high standards and work with ops leadership to drive this culture in the operation.

**About you**:

- Experience with working in or closely supporting operational environments, preferably in logistics but not essential.
- Lean Six Sigma trained or proven experience at implementing Lean Six Sigma principles in an operational environment or a continuous improvement program.
- Experienced with operational training method and effective use of 5S to achieve excellent performance.
- Comfortable with basic data analysis and key performance indicators used in logistic operations.
- Enjoy diving deep into operational performance problems to understand the root cause and be comfortable with independent learning and information gathering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to effectively communicate learnings, goals and project deliverables, new process expectations etc.
- Able to be based out of one of our 3 main city hubs (Paris, Lyon, Lille) and willing to travel across our France network regularly.
- Fluent English and French speaker.
- Have a people-oriented approach and proven track record of effective stakeholder influence and management.
- Self starter and action orientated.
