**Location Overview**:
Based in the 8th arrondissement and within the Parisian Golden Triangle, our beautiful Art-Deco era office benefits from luxury modern workspaces, an abundance of natural light and is easily accessible by public transport.

**The Team**:
Based in several locations in Europe and internationally, this roles provides considerable exposure to senior executives inside and outside the bank. Equally, you will liaise with senior stakeholders in the US and Exco members in EMEA. Exposure to private offices of Governors of Central banks, national and EU politicians, Ministers, EU officials is also part of the role.

**Role Description**:
You will be the Public Policy Lead based in Paris. You will be required to support and represent the company’s business objectives in Paris and in the EU and will be part of the International Governments Affairs team.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for policy analysis and advocacy for our broker dealer based in Paris and for the EMEA region. Additionally,
- You will support our country executive for France and the local management team in engaging with French policy makers, regulators, government officials and stakeholders.
- You will represent the firm in the local trade associations and in think tank and other organisations that are relevant to the company's business.
- You will develop and maintain relationships and engage with external stakeholders and you will prepare executive level presentation and analysis for senior leaders of the company
- You will contribute to a range of advocacy efforts across the EMEA region that impact the firm and work closely with the other members of the Gov affairs team based in Brussels and in the rest of EMEA and partner extensively with our Gov Affairs colleagues in the US.

**What we are looking for**:

- A developed portfolio of contacts of French public stakeholders. For both financial services and in the broader policy arena is desirable.
- Extensive experience in policy, public sector, trade associations, financial services institution, consultancy or related role.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and orally is mandatory. Knowledge of an additional language would be desirable.
- Solid grasp of EU institutional and decision-making process is sought.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple issues.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills is a prerequisite. An ability to engage senior stakeholders.
