Flint is looking to hire Manager / Director specialising in French public policy and government affairs (at least 5-8 years of experience) to serve our cross-sectoral client base. The location for this role is **_Paris_**.

Flint is a business advisory. We help our clients succeed in an increasingly complex world, managing risk and creating opportunity. We provide advice at the point where government and business meet, offering an authoritative perspective on both. We are experts in policy, political analysis, regulation, and competition.

Members of our multi-national team have experience working at the most senior levels in European governments, the EU institutions, regulatory agencies, competition bodies and the private sector. We support companies facing national, European, and international regulatory and policy challenges.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Direct experience in French public affairs and advocacy in a consultancy, trade body, corporate office, institution or national civil service.
- Demonstrated interest in FR policies and experience in working directly or indirectly with FR institutions.
- Previous experience in directly managing individual employees or teams.
- Good project management, organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise, plan and schedule tasks proactively and independently. Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible approach and the ability to work well across teams, both with colleagues, senior clients or stakeholders. Manage upwards and downwards and provide coaching to junior team members.
- Outstanding written communication skills, with proven ability to draft clear documents for internal and external audiences with varying degrees of expert knowledge.
- Outstanding oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex issues to non-specialists.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of other EU languages is a big plus.
