Our role in Risk and Compliance Transformation (RCT) is to facilitate the effective delivery of significant change activities in the Risk and Compliance function. Our professionals do this by understanding the strategy, listening to our stakeholder's requirements and delivering projects efficiently.
- With a holistic view of Retail Credit Risk processes and systems, the BA conducts research and analysis to come up with effective and efficient solutions implementation to address business needs within the organization's policies, standards and goals. In this respect, HBCE RCT is looking for a Business Analyst whose primary objective will be to support the BELLE programme (sale of the retail business of HSBC France) from processes, systems and data perspectives:

- Understand the current landscape, identify needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually (but not always) in relation to information and software systems.
- Study the requirements, advise and challenge the requests where appropriate and within bounds of responsibilities.
- play a key role in communicating between teams (users, IT, PMs, CDO, BAs in other departments), acting as a 'translator' where necessary.
- create ‘best in class’ suggestions for improvements and changes which can be consistently and cost-effectively deployed, while weighing opportunities and potential risks attached to recommendations.
- Ensure that when the solution is delivered, the business truly owns that this is what they wanted and is prepared to use it
- Produce clear and complete written documentation to support the work, report on the findings and present to stakeholders. Archiving them as well for future reference (eg. Internal and external audits).
- Seek for standardization of systems, processes and operational models and their alignment to those of the Group and/or the Region, to generate efficiencies and economies of scale and deliver consistent high quality service across all Businesses.

- Assist the Project Manager and provide inputs to the Project Committees
- Ensure communication & reporting to appropriate instances from PM/Management to SMEs including alerts & decision requests.
- Coordinate the tests with all actors including IT.
- Coordinate & communicate the change management

- Risk functions (primarily Retail Credit Risk, and also Wholesale Credit Risk, Risk Analytics, Risk Reporting, Operational Risks,)

- Understand Retail Risk business and the challenges faced in sustaining high-quality risk management services
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, other partners; driving change and buy-in
- Work with stakeholders to ensure externally driven change deliver solutions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that robust communication and escalation mechanisms are used
- Manage adhoc requests without compromising on the projects’ agreed scope and Minimum Viable Products
- To work under aggressive timelines, while rapidly adapting to changes

Role Context (The environment and operating conditions of the role including the extent of guidance and authority)
- The role is on the transfer list to the buyer of the Retail bank (MMG)
- Structured and organized individual with strong BA skills and ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
- Provide expertise for business design and scope
- Engage with stakeholders at the right times and in the right ways for the design and initiatives
- Develop positive relationships with stakeholders, Credit Risk peers, team members, IT partners and PMs
- Keep a close eye on value and feasibility and guide their stakeholders toward a set of requirements that can actually get implemented
- Define test strategy
- Pro-active communication, especially regarding:

- Reporting: Providing status reporting to the PM or Management.
