LexisNexis CEMEA is seeking a dynamic Strategic Partnership & M&A Manager to drive the growth strategy through horizon scanning, partner engagement, and M&A activities across Continental Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Reporting directly to the VP Strategy CEMEA, this role bridges strategic initiatives with operational execution by collaborating with senior leaders, internal stakeholders from LexisNexis Global, and RELX teams.

Key Responsibilities

Horizon Scanning & Monitoring- Conduct continuous strategic analysis to identify emerging trends, potential disruptive technologies, and strategic opportunities.- Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.- Identify relevant ecosystem partners and/or acquisition targets.

Target Analysis & Due Diligence- Identify and initiate relationships with promising startups and strategic partners aligned with LexisNexis’s growth objectives.- Perform comprehensive target analysis for potential M&A or strategic partnership opportunities, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments.- Coordinate and lead pre-due diligence efforts in collaboration with legal, finance, and external advisors.

M&A Coordination- Coordinate due dligence efforts with Global M&A and RELX

Implementation & Integration- Oversee the end-to-end process of M&A engagements, from initial target identification and deal structuring to post-acquisition integration. Lead post transaction integration processes.- Develop and implement strategic partner implementation plans to ensure seamless transitions and realization of synergies.

Stakeholder Management- Collaborate closely with senior leaders within LexisNexis CEMEA, including the CEO, VP Strategy, VP Product, and country Managing Directors.- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders across LexisNexis Global (Strategy, Finance) and RELX Corporate Finance / M&A teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.- Proven experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, M&A, or a related role within a complex, multinational organization.

Technical & Analytical Skills- Strong analytical capabilities.- Expertise in due diligence and M&A integration processes.- Role based in Paris. Fluency in both French and English are required.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.- Experience working collaboratively with senior leadership teams and navigating matrixed organizations.

Industry Knowledge- Prior experience with legal tech is advantageous.- Familiarity with the dynamic innovation landscape and startup ecosystem
