This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reenforcing our strategic position with our global customers.

Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.

As part of its development, the airline CMA CGM AIR CARGO is looking for a Head of Customs Affairs.

**RESPONSABILITIES**:
Within the Ground Department, reporting to the Ground Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Define and ensure the customs policy of the CMA CGM AIR CARGO Airline (CCAC);
- Implement new European customs processes;
- Controlling and ensuring the compliance of customs operations;
- Coordinate authority audits and internal controls and follow up on action plans;
- Provide ongoing support to CCAC clients and CCAC teams;
- Be the privileged interlocutor of national customs services (DGDDI, CBP, other national customs authorities);
- Managing customs litigation in conjunction with our lawyers;
- Coordinate customs matters with CMA CGM group subsidiaries (opening of new stations, etc.);
- To actively monitor laws, regulations, impact analysis and draft internal memos at a global level;
- Participate in various existing working groups;
- Develop external communication materials;
- Manage and coordinate the production of reports and assessments (monitoring of licences, customs approvals, monitor and maintain KPIs);
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

University degree or equivalent in a field related to the position: Laws, transport, logistics, international trade;
At least 10 years of import/export experience with significant experience in an airline or freight forwarder;
Solid knowledge and understanding of international customs rules and regulations;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving skills, and being able to work under pressure;
Strong research, analytical, writing and policy development skills;
Fluent in English.
