The Channel Sales Manager is a senior position within an entrepreneurial team led by the Vice President of Stratus’ rapidly evolving business operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This is a challenging role - you will help shape the future of existing business relationships and develop new relationships that will drive growth. You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of country level strategies that ensure both short and long-term objectives are achieved.

Allied to an innate ability to develop a mutually beneficial rapport both internally and with the channel, the role demands wide-ranging knowledge of the IT industry and a proven background in selling and supporting hardware and software solutions within an indirect sales model.

Main responsibilities
- Establish Stratus as a significant and trusted provider of its full product and services portfolio within the target marketplace.
- Drive revenue growth through enhancement of existing partnerships and the identification, development and management of new business partnerships.
- Collaborate effectively - both within the region and with the wider Corporate

functions.
- Forecast against sales targets, ensure they are met.
- Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within Stratus’ CRM system.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Stratus’ people and capabilities.
- Ensure you represent Stratus in the best possible light.

Skills and Experience Required

The Channel Sales Manager will have been professionally sales trained with experience of successfully owning and achieving targets within an organisation with a similar sales model.

They should have a strong track record of assisting and driving end-user sales directly and indirectly and they must have experience of go-to-market strategies with solution vendors and integrators (ISVs, SI’s and OEM channels).

- Strong public speaking and general communication skills, both written and verbal with a proven capacity to engage credibly at all levels - up to and including a board of directors.
- Demonstrates the capability to succeed in an environment in which resilience, self-sufficiency and initiative are critical success factors.
- Keeps up to date with current technologies and the IT marketplace particularly as they relate to Stratus.
- Highly numerate with experience of working with spreadsheets.
- A solid team ethic.
- An ability to speak fluent English
- Knowledge of French or German language is desirable
