To evolve the thought-leader contracting process in collaboration with all key stakeholders, and manage individual thought-leader contracts associated with medical communication activities.

**Evolution of thought-leader contracting process**
- To work with the Congress and Vendor Manager, the Global Medical Communications and Scientific Publications Director, the relevant Therapy Area stakeholders, Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Purchasing, Finance, and a selected vendor to support the evolution of the contracting process
- To develop and maintain a Contracting Guide, outlining the process, the different country requirements and timelines, the core stakeholders, the relevant databases and access requirements, all necessary templates and any other relevant information
- To manage the contracting process through iCap
- To have a full working knowledge of compliance regulations and all relevant Ipsen SOPs
**Thought-leader contracting**
- To ensure timely contracting of thought leaders, through iCap, in particular:
- To manage thought-leader contracts for medical communication activities
- Advisory board meetings
- Satellite symposia
- To work with event organiser to determine parameters of contracts (hours, accommodation, travel, expenses, etc) and prepare first draft of contract, using iCap
- To drive legal review of contracts when applicable
- To drive local compliance review of contracts
- To manage all communication with thought leaders around contracting
- To work with the legal team to manage any requested contract amendments
- To ensure timely reconciliation of expenses and honoraria, via K2
- To prepare regular reports, as required by the GMPC team and the wider Ipsen stakeholder groups
**General**
- To complete all of the above activities within the framework and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and other systems in force within the Ipsen group
- To perform any other activity as may reasonably be required from time to time
**Experience / Qualifications**
- Experience & Qualifications:
**Ideal**:
- Graduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Unparalleled attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, especially in the scientific field; other languages a benefit
- At least 1 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Experience of working in a matrix team with strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences
**Minimum**:
- Graduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, especially in the scientific field

- Project management experience in coordinating the production and delivery of multiple documents
