**1.** **Who we are**

AXA IM Core 1st Line Oversight & Governance plays a key role in supporting the smooth running and development of AXA IM Core through the following main missions:

- Be a protective 1st level Business Controls Unit/First Line of Defense for Investment & Trading activity globally, maintaining an appropriate and tailored governance model with Senior Management, Heads of Investment, Heads of Trading Desks and 2nd/3rd line control functions from Compliance, Risk and Audit
- Contribute to the development of AXA IM CORE portfolio management activities and order execution - across multiple asset classes and investment/trading regions internationally.
- In partnership with the different AXA IM support functions, contribute to the various transformation initiatives, helping create a robust operational environment capable of supporting daily activity, business development ambitions and management of regulatory change.
- Contribute to the oversight of Investment & Trading teams, helping design, maintain and report various control indicators as the organization's activities and structure evolves

**2.** **Responsibilities**

The Business Coordination Intern will work closely with Core representatives mainly on transversal initiatives:

- Support the Core Transversal Services team in the Operational incidents management to help monitor the implementation of mitigation action plans and reportings to the head of platforms in an efficient manner.
- Compilation of key management information to identify and escalate control-related business risks for presentation to Heads of Investments and Trading Senior Managers within AXA IM Core’s Committee and Forum governance structure.
- Further automate control dashboard reporting to provide a dynamic and consolidated view to management on the control performed on their activity
- Ensure the maintenance of the data quality and the consistency across the Core platform (Access rights, static data) for our internal referential.
- Work closely with Core Portfolio Managers or other Core teams to conduct static data review.
- Contribute to transversal initiatives such as the review of access rights on the Front Office management system and coordinate with transversal teams where needed
- Active contribution to the monitoring of key KPIs to measure GCOO Quality of Service: Dashboard production and industrialization to share with Core Transversal Service members, Better exploitation of the log tool to analyze/identify potential trends.
- Work with transversal functional analysts and portfolio managers at all levels to identify solution requirements that support the business strategy and assist pro-actively team members.

**3.** **Requirements**
- The placement program is aimed at undergraduate or postgraduate students who have the option to take up to an apprentices 1or 2 year in industry as part of their degree.
- Business School program, BAC+4 minimum
- Understanding of the asset management industry with a particular interest in portfolio management.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to interact with Front Office and Support teams.
- Proficient use of MS PowerPoint, Excel & business intelligence software such as Tableau, Power-BI for the creation of senior management dashboards
- Capacity to evolve in a diverse, multi-cultural global context.
- Self-motivated with drive & strong record of achievement.
- Fluent English & French
