**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:

- A skilled and experienced engineer with a passion for industrial processes and digital transformation. Sensibility in both of these domains, process AND digital, is absolutely key, and we believe this will make the difference.
- You will be part of the Manufacturing Excellence & Digital Transformation Team of GBU Materials, with a focus in the short term on the Specialty Polymers Worldwide business.
- Your challenge is to maximize the value we extract from our industrial assets. The digital SOLUTIONS enable more efficient use of our industrial assets, smoother business processes, and more effective problem-solving.

**We count on you for**:

- Combine both the digital tools approved by the group and the GBU industrial data models, defined by the Data Model Engineer, to bring easy-to-replicate digital SOLUTIONS to the GBU sites.
- Support the sites in the rapid implementation of existing Digital Solutions (e.g. Condition Based Monitoring, OEE Tracking, Self Service Analytics) by facilitating interactions with the Corporate Digital Teams and the Industrial Data Model Engineer
- Where the GBU is a pilot, act as “Product Owner” per Agile methodology guiding the efforts of the Digital Technology teams for the development of new digital Solutions (e.g. Batch Watcher, Golden Batch, Smart SPC, Product Genealogy...). In collaboration with GBU and Group Stakeholders to make sure pilots generate Minimum Viable Solutions.
- Work with volunteer site teams to continuously improve existing Digital Solutions for the benefit of all sites.

To summarize, the main output of the Industrial Digital Solutions Engineer is to leverage the GBU industrial data models and Group existing tools to define and deploy Digital Solutions supporting StarFactory digital roadmaps of the sites.

**You will bring**:

- You must have a five-year degree in Chemical/process engineering or Information Engineering.
- You have already experienced the digitalization of processes and you are able to challenge and steer the way digital solutions should be developed and used.
- You already gained 3-5 years of experience in an industrial context (plant, technological, R&I, IT).
- Ideally, you have previous experience in designing or deploying digital apps in industrial plants.

- You are fluent in English. Italian or French is a plus.
