**We are looking for a Back End Team Lead.**

**Location: we are looking for people for our office in France (Lyon).**

Skills/knowledge required for the position_**
- Proven work experience as a team leader
- At least 5 years of programming experience
- Expert level Object-Oriented Design, and MVC implementation
- Strong knowledge of Software architecture, Service-oriented architecture
- Scrum, Kanban, or other agile methodologies
- Unit testing
- Collaborating with engineering teams in multiple locations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Decision-making skills

**_ Main job responsibilities_**
- Lead the development team
- Provide technical knowledge and insight to peers and colleagues
- Manage the commitment of the team for each sprint
- Ensure integration of the software with monitoring and support tools
- Participate in project architecture design
- Development of new features and modules, as well as maintaining the existing
- Ensure that the team’s technical product documentation is always complete, accurate and coherent
- Review and give constructive feedback on others’ code
- Ensure the team’s approach to testing is fit for purpose
- Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and help introduce them where appropriate
- Support product and departmental managers in communicating strategy and product fit and effectiveness to stakeholders at all levels
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Set clear team goals
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
