Qualifications:
**What do you need**:

- Fluent English
- Confidential, understands the ethical standards required by a such finance function
- Accountable and conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work
- Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same
- Able to analyse, organize, summarize and articulate complex financial information
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
- Important to be able to take a step back and look at the “big picture” as well as giving attention to the finer details
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of best practices in internal controls and financial reporting
- Ideally Big 4 Accounting and experience in packaging industry

**Location **:Based ideally at Saint Georges de Reneins, France (location to be discussed) and possible to work remotely

**Responsibilities**:
**Purpose of the role**:
Your role as a Financial Controller is to be responsible for preparation and distribution of various internal financial statements to management and ensuring that all transactions and documentation complies with US GAAP.

You will be reporting to VP Bramlage
- Finance Healthcare, Dispensing and Closures.

Scope of 52 sites / $2b sales within four clusters.

**Your Main responsibilities**:

- Prepare and distribute timely various internal financial statements within the division, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy,
- Manage monthly closing, forecast and budget process, including reconciliations and analysis (incl. P&L bridges and WC /cash analysis),
- Help with the development, roll out and tracking of new CPI reporting tools such as Net productivity KPI’s, data warehouse, forecast models, polymer reporting etc,
- Ensure the integrity and compliance with appropriate internal financial and accounting policies and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with SoX. (Balance sheet reviews at regular basis, quarterly flows reconciliation),
- Research and resolve accounting issues in liaise with CPI Finance team to ensure US GAAP compliance,
- Participate actively on processes improvement & Automation of financial tasks within the division,
- Coordinate and update written Division policies and procedures over the financial reporting process,
- Liaise with Berry central functions, such as Finance, Treasury, Tax, IT, Company Secretary, Internal Audit, etc as appropriate.
