Key member of the Legal Department enabling excellent legal service delivery across the A2MAC1 Group globally. Advising on the full spectrum of legal issues relevant to an international technology business including contracting, M&A, corporate matters and data protection.

**Advise business leaders on diverse range of legal issues on a global basis**
- Identify legal issues and risks and provide guidance on a number of complex topics
- includes corporate matters, intellectual property and dispute resolution (drawing on external expertise where appropriate)
- managing external counsel
- Monitor & communicate the latest legal compliance and regulatory changes
- Develop and support data protection and other regulatory compliance programs
- Draft & roll out policies and processes in support of these aims

**Contract review, negotiation and management**:

- Draft, review and negotiate customer contracts including multi-million Euro contracts with major customers
- Draft, review and negotiate agreements with key suppliers and strategic partners
- Develop and maintain contract templates
- Work with our Contract Manager to improve contracting process and educate Sales Teams

**Compliance**
**Coordinate management of subsidiary companies**
- Work with external advisers to ensure efficient and compliant management of subsidiaries on a global basis

**M&A activities**
- Provide legal support to M&A transactions

**Requirements**:
**Professional Background**
- French qualified lawyer with experience working on international matters
- A minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience
- In-house experience would be advantageous
- General commercial skillset including experience of commercial contracts and of data protection
- Experience of some or all of the following areas of law: software and/or data licensing, intellectual property, corporate, M&A, Trade Controls
- Technology industry experience preferred
- Flexible self-starter
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Solution-focused
- Culturally sensitive and emotionally intelligent; able to operate effectively across geographies and at all levels of the organization
- Fluent written and spoken English and French
