Within the Legal Department - Litigation & Compliance, and in connection with the Group DPO, the Legal Manager Data & Privacy is responsible for providing data and privacy legal support and advice to the Group and its expected missions are as follows:
Management
- Lead and manage the data privacy team within the Legal Department - Litigation & Compliance.

Support to operations
- Provide data and privacy legal advice, guidance and support to Group business units and corporate functions and more generally to all stakeholders within the Group
- Implement and maintain internal data and privacy programs, policies and procedures and documentation for the processing of personal data by the Group as defined by the DPO
- Provide legal support and advice for M&A activities (in relation to data and privacy)
- Oversee and effectively manage privacy and data outside counsel and their associated services, advice and billing
- Review with the Data Privacy Team the legal aspects of the projects incorporated in the BCSI
- Assist and advise business stakeholders in reviewing DPIAs to evaluate the risk of non-compliance before DPO’s validation
- Assisting operations in the negotiation of complex contracts and Data Agreements
- Assist the DPO:

- on legal aspects for any communications with regulatory authorities concerning data and privacy issues
- for the implementation of compliance programs defined by the DPO that enable the company to operate within the legal and regulatory framework
- for the use and technical evolutions on all Privacy Tools (BCSI, Processing Register, ARTEMIS)
- by participating with the Data Privacy team to steercos scheduled by the DPO
- on the follow up of audits action plans
- to ensure the compliancy and the follow-up of TIAs delegated to law firms (list to be completed)

Awareness
- Monitor legislative evolutions in the personal data & privacy protection landscape
- Alert the DPO in case of serious risk or identified non-compliance
