Industrial Training Manager

**Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?** The Industrial Training Manager** plays a key role in knowledge management and skills development within the Gypsum and Insulation Business Units. Their main mission is to enhance the technical expertise of the teams, capitalize on best practices, and structure training programs to ensure the skill development of employees. They will work on several levers such as documentation, audits, training, and skills monitoring, in collaboration with the various Business entities.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- In coordination with the industrial director and with the support of technical experts, define, develop, and maintain basic technical-industrial training programs, provide effective support to plants in integrating new hires and managing plant skills with a varied training method.
- Identify and develop new training programs necessary to support the implementation of new processes/technologies, the deployment of new product manufacturing, and the start-up of new lines.
- Assess current and future training needs of operators with the DTI department.
- Identify critical operational knowledge.
- Coach trainers on pedagogy and training effectiveness.
- Measure the effectiveness and consistency of the training program with relevant KPIs.
- Develop the annual training program.
- Research contemporary learning and development methodologies in coordination with the SG training department and SG AI specialists.
- Provide recommendations on training tools and the skills management platform.
- Animate the operator training community (with the plants) to share best training practices and pool content and resources.
- Communicate the training program to countries and plants.
- Manage the budget.

**Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?** Education & Experience**: Master's degree/engineering diploma in a scientific or industrial field; Significant professional experience in an industrial environment.

**Languages**: English: As work and interactions with plants are primarily conducted in English, a very good command of this language is mandatory, both written and spoken. An additional language is a plus.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Knowledge of complex industrial manufacturing processes.
- Strong skills in analysis, organization, and management of complex projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ease or curiosity to handle new digital and multimedia tools (Office 365: SharePoint, Yammer).
- Interest in training and knowledge management.
- Ability to learn and integrate new digital tools related to training and skills management.

Technologie et Performance Industrielle (TIP) is a central international team of around 550 employees spread across several sites in France and abroad. Its mission is to define and implement the Group's energy and environmental roadmap, while providing technical support to the Group's plants, particularly in Construction businesses such as Gypsum, Insulation, Mortars and Glass.
