**Position**:
The Area Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth and brand success within the assigned region. This multifaceted role involves team leadership, strategic planning, business development, negotiation, and brand advocacy. The Area Manager will work transversally with all European departments, cultivate strong relationships with agents and retailers, develop and implement effective business plans, and ensure consistent brand execution and brand elevation across the region.

**The area manager is responsible**
- Driving market growth and development, particularly within existing markets and by working with agents.
- Identifying new opportunities to increase top line revenue and profit, with a focus on gaining market share.
- Implementing new approaches within such as omnichannel and influence or services & spawhile ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Maintaining and strengthening the brand image while achieving targets for market share, revenue, and operational results.
- Analyzing market trends and internal/external factors with international retailers as an example to provide strategic recommendations for regional development.

**Job responsibilities**:
**Specific Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- **Account Management (Distributors)**:Managing relationships and performance of distributors. Negotiating the best commercial agreements, including trade plans, A&P budgets, distribution strategies, and payment terms.
- **Sales Management**:Tracking sales performance (sell-in, wholesale, sell-out), analyzing profitability, and managing product assortments. Managing sales forecasts and new product launches.
- **Budgeting and Financial Planning**:Preparing annual budgets and revised P&L statements for each account, adhering to export guidelines. Managing investments within budget (soft merchandising, hard merchandising, events, A&P).
- **Marketing and Merchandising**:Developing and implementing marketing, media, and digital plans adapted to specific markets. Overseeing merchandising strategies to secure optimal brand visibility and positioning, including hard merchandising investments and negotiating retail space.
- **Business Development**:Continuously seeking and exploiting new opportunities, identify potential new partners for brand growth and exceeding targets.
- **Client Relationship Management**:Serving as the primary point of contact, communicating daily with local distributor teams (brand managers, etc.).
- **Legal Compliance**:Monitoring legal aspects of contracts, including commercial agreements and addendums.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:Working closely with internal departments (finance, marketing, training, legal, merchandising) to coordinate activities and ensure effective plan execution. Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, providing guidance and support to achieve targets and brand elevation.

- Education: International Business school
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in commerce
- Bilingual: English/French
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership
