Veracyte, a leading provider of innovative diagnostic solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist Intern with skills in AI and python programming to join our R&D department in Marseille.
As a key member of our Data Science team, you will play a role in developing and implementing deep learning models for medical image data processing and analysis in the field of immuno-oncology.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Learn and adapt quickly to deep learning technologies.
Utilize computer vision and image processing techniques to analyze and interpret medical images.
Develop new automatic preprocessing methods for our data generator tool.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, digital pathology.
You would like to develop your skills in AI/ deep learning, computer vision and image processingand on the technical level on deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow with libraries such as OpenCV and Scikit-learn Docker, Git, Unit Testing Bioinformatics? This internship will be perfect for you
**Who You Are**:
Bachelor's/Master’s degree student or equivalent in image processing, you ideally have a previous skill in analyzing medical image.
An internship spent in image processing and/or deep learning, or other type of experience in the previous cited domains will be very appreciated.
Excellent problem-solving and learning skills, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Strong academic skills in AI/deep learning, computer vision and image processing.
Proficient in Python programming language.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
Knowledge of tools such as Docker, Git, Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, and Agile methods will be appreciated.
Good level in English, both spoken and written.
