**About the Role**:
We're looking for a seasoned and passionate Solutions Analyst to join the Product team at Sourcemap. You will contribute to the product strategy, development, and launch of new experiences that enable an international portfolio of clients to build greater transparency, traceability, and accountability into their supply chains.

As a member of the Product team, you'll sit at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Customer Success, and help define the next generation of enterprise experiences Sourcemap. You'll cultivate a deep understanding of Sourcemap customer base, and the industries we serve, and will represent the voice of our users when defining product requirements and technical specifications. The Solutions Analyst will also contribute by recommending product and process improvements, identifying growth and product opportunities, and increasing revenue.

**Be comfortable interacting with customers and internal resources**

The Solutions Analyst must be comfortable speaking with our customers and interacting internally to be successful. The ability to share information in a friendly, easy-to-understand manner and in a transparent way is very important. Having the abilities to explain the ins and outs of the product offerings in a manner anyone can grasp.

**Be flexible and willing to accept new challenges**

The Solutions Analyst must be flexible to adjust to the different temperaments of internal resources as well as client personalities. This skill is also essential for brainstorming solutions for product improvements and cross-functional solutioning internally and externally. Also, depending on the goals of the company, he or she may need pitch in to help in other capacities so they will need to be capable of working in a dynamic environment.

The Solutions Analyst must be in the know of industry trends and changes. It is expected to conduct research through several avenues. One is competitive intelligence. Another is to digest client feedback to serve as the eyes and ears of the product team. Listening to what the clients have to say, and then seeing how they use the product, will provide invaluable knowledge. The Solution Analyst will need to take detailed notes based on the needs of all stakeholders.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating and strategizing with the business and engineering teams
- Understand feature requirements
- Engage with multiple clients/business units/internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into product features that can be applied
- Develop standard communication protocols and documentation templates
- Design, implement and maintain standard processes & methodologies for implementation execution
- Mentor Sales Engineering on product capabilities and features
- Develop relationships with Sales & Customer Success teams to determine inter-team dependencies & work with Product Managers to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Sales Engineering to document business requirements and technical specifications
- Assist in the launching of new products and helping different departments with expertise knowledge
- Measure the effectiveness of the strategies and the plans made by different departments for a product
- Scheduling training sessions and attending meetings as required.
- Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Analytical Skills: Solution Analysts must be able to understand and decipher large amounts of data and information.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills when gathering information, interpreting the data, and presenting results to clients or internally.
- Critical-thinking Skills: To determine what strategy would work best, a Solutions Analyst should analyze every possible scenario and think logically.
- Detail Oriented: Solution Analysts must focus on all of the little and trivial details to understand the inputs/outputs of precise data analysis for all of the differentiated product packages.
- 2-5+ years of experience in a hands-on Solutions Analyst, Solutions Consulting or Sales Engineering role.
- Experience working for a B2B SaaS company, a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, work within a cross-functional team, and across multiple partners and geographies, to deliver project outcomes.
