We have a unique opportunity for an Applications Specialist to support our growth in Microscopy Systems. The Application Specialist is a valued member of the team, supporting our Sales teams, Distributors and Customers, through both pre and post sales activity. In addition, the market insight this role achieves need to be collated and communicated back to the business, through Product Management and Product Engineering, interacting with many departments within Andor.

The Applications Specialist is typically the technical face of the company, so building relationships and collaborations with customers is key. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference, both to Andor’s business and to our customers. This position offers the unique opportunity to use both your technical knowledge and to expand into a more commercial role.

**The Application’s Specialist will ideally be**:
Experienced and highly competent using fluoresence microscopy and/or confocal microscopy for biological research
OR
Successful experience in technical sales involving high-end microscopy imaging products
AND

This permanent position can be based anywhere in Europe within travel distance of a major airport hub to allow travel to our Belfast headquarters and customers. Travel is expected to be approximately 50% of the time within the EMEA region.
