Human Resources Manager

**Job purpose**:
The key purpose of the role is to serve as the key liaison between the French team and the global People & Culture department, ensuring seamless communication and implementation of corporate policies. Provide HR support and advice to local managers on issues such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management.
**Key tasks**:
- Lead and coordinate group-wide initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, talent development, and company culture across the French teams.
- Champion the organization’s culture and values, ensuring that they are embedded in local practices and continuously reflected in daily operations.
- Organize and manage employee events, workshops, and trainings to foster a positive and collaborative work environment aligned with the group’s overall culture.
- Act as a culture ambassador, driving the adoption of group-wide programs, such as performance management, recognition, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Coordinate, implement, and drive common People & Culture (P&C) processes in close collaboration with local management, such as The Voice survey and values implementation.
- Ensure data accuracy and management in various HR systems (e.g., The Voice, The Bridge) for all employees and managers in France.
- Oversee the upkeep of the Employee Handbook and policies to align with both local regulations and group-wide guidelines.
- Drive the implementation of employee feedback and cultural initiatives, ensuring that France teams fully participate in the group’s values, engagement surveys, and performance conversations.
- Actively support and coordinate the delivery of P&C-related training, onboarding, and talent management programs to foster employee development and engagement.
- Provide HR and business insights, assisting local managers with decision-making in areas such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compensation.
- Advise managers on labor law, terms and conditions of employment, and share best practices to maintain compliance and promote efficiency.
- Develop, review, and implement local HR policies and procedures aimed at improving performance and operational efficiency.
- Support local payroll administrators by managing the administration and storage of payroll records, ensuring that accounts are updated with any changes.
- Advise on compensation, benefits, and reward strategies, integrating input from stakeholders, market practices, and employee surveys.
- Support the recruitment process by developing job descriptions, preparing interview materials, conducting background checks, and providing advice on recruitment strategies.
- Drive the Onboarding Processes alongside recruiting managers to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage employee relations, including labor law issues, workers council contacts, disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, absences, retirements, and redundancies.
- Oversee the Performance Conversation Process for France, including tracking completion, delivering internal training, and providing performance-related advice.
- Assist managers with talent reviews, succession planning, and aligning business goals with HR strategies.
- Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes, implementing changes where necessary to stay aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead change management processes such as internal communication, stakeholder management, organization changes, and job descriptions.

- Knowledge of HR Systems and Databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Good business knowledge and financial awareness
- Excellent computer skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Fluent in English and French language
**Experience**:
- Proven working experience (min 5 years) as HR Manager for a medium to large organization with experience in manufacturing sites.
- Demonstratable experience with Human Resource Metrics
- Union experience (min 5 years)
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Management and Human Resources or related field
