Research Engineer in Digital Solutions for Product

**Your role**

You will be working for Maizières Process research centre located in Maizières-lès-Metz (France) and more specifically in the Quality & Product Department. Q&P's main mission is to develop and deploy innovative digital solutions for product quality management, offering a large panel of functionalities from operational decision to root cause analysis, from predictive qualification to reallocation. These solutions are deployed in ArcelorMittal plants all over the world (currently 48 lines in 23 plants are equipped with our solutions) to contribute to quality improvement and mastering leading to multi-million dollars value creation.

Be the project leader for deployments of our product quality management solutions - Global Product Quality Systems - in various ArcelorMittal plants around the world:

- Configure and implement the quality rules in GPQS
- Validate the product qualification result
- Measure the performance of GPQS tools at the end of the deployment
- Manage the project with all stakeholders: R&D teams, Quality and IT teams of the plant

Contribute to development projects for new digital services related to quality management and ultimately take responsibility for one of these projects:

- Write business specifications that meet the needs of the customer / pilot plant
- Follow the development steps
- Validate these developments
- Manage the project with the various stakeholders (R&D teams and pilot plant) in accordance with the planning of the deliverables

**Your profile**
- You hold a Masters' degree in Quality Management.
- You had a first experience in quality management and tools for quality management (GPQS).
- Some knowledge of instrumentation and signal/information processing would be a plus.
- You have advanced level in French and in English.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking in relation to the results delivered by quality management tools.
- You demonstrate a lot of rigor and logic, you are creative.
- Without being an IT developer, you have a certain affinity for information systems (Being able to configure through an advanced editor).
- You know how to communicate and share knowledge with GPQS users.
- You know how to work in a team, in a context of remote work.
