**Shop Manager - Cruise Ship Opportunity**
**Location**: Onboard international cruise ships
**Start Date**: To be confirmed (after completion of mandatory STCW safety training)
**Contract Type**: Fixed-term (approximately 5 months, +/- 1 month)
**Salary**: Base gross €2,773/month + performance bonus €1,350/month
**Accommodation and Meals**: Single cabin and full board provided by the company
**Travel Expenses**: Covered by the employer (to and from the ship)

**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to lead the onboard retail team on a luxury cruise ship. This is a unique opportunity to manage shop operations while traveling the world, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and working in a dynamic multicultural environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily retail operations, team schedules, and shop logistics
- Ensure sales targets, service standards, and guest satisfaction are consistently met
- Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and promotional displays
- Coordinate product deliveries, stock control, and inventory management
- Lead, train, and support a diverse retail team (attendants, specialists, supervisors)
- Analyze sales reports and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal company policies
- Collaborate with onboard departments and shore-based retail support
- Proven experience in a fast-paced retail environment with team management responsibilities
- Excellent leadership, customer service, and sales skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
- Fluency in at least one additional European language (Italian, French, German, or Spanish)
- Ability to live and work onboard a cruise ship for the full contract duration
- Willingness to complete the mandatory STCW safety training (approx. 10 days; reimbursed after contract completion)
