The Supply Chain team are responsible to bringing billions of life-saving medical devices and diagnostics tests, high-tech instruments and equipment to customers and patients all over the world. Our aim is deliver these products at an affordable cost and of the highest quality. **About the role**: **Our "S&OP and long-term capacity planning" team** is looking for a** material planner & analyst.** Focus on **providing supply chain analysis **and **support to Worldwide and local supply teams, supplier management organization, procurement and quality.** **Your responsibilities**: Propose global supply plan / allocation to match specific requirements on quality or customers’ requirements Analyze any shortage situation by gathering plants requirements and actual suppliers order book Propose action plan to close supply gap in collaboration with each supply category planner: order book re-allocation, increase of supplier capacity, plant schedule adjustments Collaborate with internal & external partners such as suppliers, plants planner, category planner, category leader, procurement and quality teams. Give quick overview of risks & opportunities, enabling decisions to be make and implement Follow the implementation of solutions leading to the mitigation of risks. Supervise any long-term improvement to help avoiding same situation to occur and be encouraging in their implementation with plants, procurement and suppliers’ operations. **Your profile**: - Master or Engineer degree in supply-chain or technical degree - Experience in supply-chain, in an industrial company - The knowledge of continuous improvement process / DMAIC is required - You are digital savvy (SAP is a plus) - Proficiency in English and French **Why join us?** A career at BD means being part of a team that values your opinions and contributions and that empowers you to bring your authentic self to work.
