Senior Sourcing Initiatives Leader

These critical activities will execute operational processes end-to-end business solution for sourcing functional teams in Parts, Field Services, Repairs, Projects, and New Unit Factories.
- Ensure inclusion of all relevant cross-Functions (Sourcing, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT and Finance).
- Budget Accountability for Resourcing and Program related initiatives of SG+ and iManage.‐ Ces activités essentielles consistent à exécuter des solutions de bout en bout dans le cadre des processus opérationnels pour les équipes fonctionnelles chargées des achats dans les services Pièces, Services sur le terrain, Réparations, Projets et Usines de nouvelles unités.
‐ Veiller à l'inclusion de tous les services transversaux pertinents (Achats, Ingénierie, Chaîne d'approvisionnement, Informatique et Finance).
‐ Assurer la responsabilité budgétaire pour les initiatives liées aux ressources et aux programmes de SG+ et iManage.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Leads SG+ Project Team with moderate risk and complexity. Presents business solutions to leaders in different functional areas. Communicates complex messages effectively and negotiates internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners or vendors.
- Negotiate and drive improvement solutions/innovations with Digital Technology Teams and software provider(s). Ensure solutions reflect GE Vernova’s best interests while driving them to the established time and cost expectations.
- Hold Review Board Meetings to ensure all involved internal and external stakeholders are informed, partnering closely with the Gas Power Sourcing IT.
- Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Collaborate across functions and teams to drive strategy and critical path decisions to maximize project impact, drive simplification and standardization efforts for all digitization initiatives.
- Lead/Support defect resolution and root cause analysis with issues raised to SG+ support teams.
- Drive Improvement Portfolio with SG+ Functional and IT Team ensuring efficient division of work between the two teams and providing updates on Rally improvement pipelines / execution.
- Ensure delivery of SG+ training sessions with GE & Supplier stakeholders.
- Collaborate across functions and teams to drive strategy and critical path decisions to maximize project impact, drive simplification and standardization efforts for all digitization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Analytics Team Lead (Jaggaer One Reports) and Sourcing reporting team to deliver reporting solutions that simplify complex operational business processes to drive productivity and compliance.
**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Initiatives. Knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent.
- For roles in USA & Hungary - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Extensive experience in Sourcing, Operations, Fulfilment and/or Supply Chain Functions
- Significant experience in project leadership
- Green Belt or Black Belt certified (GE Employees only)

- Ability and willingness to travel (approximately 5%)
