**CGS** provides a broad range of ICT Services focusing on: Cloud, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, BI and Data Warehouse, Big Data, Service Desk, Proactive Monitoring, Operations and Support, Service Management, Project and Programme Management, and Professional Services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Architect, design, install and configure systems and storage solutions (e.g. disk arrays, SAN fabrics, backup infrastructure, backup software, distributed storage solutions, etc);
- Implement systems and storage maintenance routines and schedules;
- Implement and operate orchestration/automation tooling to maintain and extend systems and storage solutions;
- Implement and operate systems and storage management, reporting and monitoring tooling;
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve systems and storage issues;
- Implement and operate systems and storage-related software providing shared services;
- Implement systems and storage performance tuning and analysis;
- Produce and maintain systems and storage technical documentation and operational procedures;
- Produce availability, backup and recovery designs and schedules;
**Requirements**:
- A systems and storage SME with extensive detailed design expertise;
- Develops strategies for managing systems, storage and data based on level of criticality of information, managing compliance with regulatory and security requirements;
- Align investments in systems and storage management with data management policies to meet the business goals based on the information value, classification of data, recovery point and recovery time objectives;
- Manages the storage and backup systems to provide agreed service levels;
- Responsible for creating, improving, and supporting quality IT services with optimal utilization of systems and storage resources, ensuring data security, availability and integrity of business data;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the defined area of expertise.
- Involvement with Oracle Exadata.
- VMWare Storage Administration, management & troubleshooting.
- Experience with HP XP24000, HP 3PAR, HP XP8
